What is

Child Abuse

Child Abuse refers to any act or failure to act by a parent, caregiver, or another person that results in harm, potential harm, or a serious risk to a child’s well-being. This can include physical abuse (causing injury through hitting, burning, or other means), emotional abuse (verbal attacks, threats, or constant criticism), sexual abuse (any sexual act involving a child), and neglect (failing to provide basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, or supervision).

At Amberly’s Place, we are committed to providing a safe space for children and families, offering support, resources, and advocacy to help break the cycle of abuse and promote healing.
